A New Home for The Diabetic Cyclist
Introducing "Oldpocalypse," and a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card
I have no idea if you’ve missed me or not. I’m still here!
What happened was that I got sidetracked with a major project: I was writing a novel. Novels take a long time to write, and this one was especially difficult.
I had to make a decision on continuing to work on this newsletter, or take time off and work on the book.
The book won. Sorry, everyone.
But I’m back! The book is finished and out to prospective agents.
I haven’t forgotten y’all, though. I’ll still be writing about cycling, which I love as much as ever. I’m broadening my mission, though: I’m now writing about aging, and how to stay young and spry no matter your age. It’s a newsletter called “Oldpocalypse,” and is brand new. Please check it out.
I’ll be writing about cycling and how it helps, well, everything. I’ll also be covering many other topics I have an interest in. The theme is that you don’t have to accept that getting older means being less active, less vital.
I hope you’ll subscribe over there. And I have a special bribe inducement to get you to sign up (it’s free): I’ll be giving away a $100 Amazon gift card to one of my TDC subscribers who signs up for Oldpocalypse.
In addition, by signing up you’ll be entered for the giveaway of the Kindle Paperwhite. That is a lot of swag!
Here are a couple of articles you may want to check out, to give you a flavor of my new site:
There’s a lot more coming. I hope to see you on the new site (and watch for info on the book!)
